One step changes
everything.
A daily walking commitment, turned into a mission: bringing accessible movement to elder care communities, hospitals, and anyone who needs a reason to take the next step.
walked by our founder, at age 56, every single day
It started with a promise
to myself.
At 56, I committed to walking 10,000 steps every single day. Not for a competition, not for a trend — to keep my mind right and my body moving. It worked. And I couldn't stop thinking about the people who need that same push but don't have anyone showing them it's possible.
World Wide Steppas exists to be that benchmark for someone else — whether they're recovering from physical trauma, living in elder care, or just carrying more stress than they should. One step counts. So does ten thousand.
What a session actually looks like.
A guided walking program built for real ability levels — not a fitness class, a moment of encouragement, structured enough that facilities can trust it and simple enough that any resident can join.
Led, not left alone
Every session is led by a trained Step Coach, focused on encouragement over performance.
Paced to the person
Wheelchairs, walkers, or independent walkers — the session moves at their pace, not a schedule.
2–3x a week
20–30 minute sessions, regularly scheduled, so it becomes something residents look forward to.
Visible progress
Simple participation and engagement tracking your team can actually see and use.
Movement is the message.
Body
Gentle, consistent movement supports mobility and physical recovery at whatever pace someone is able to go.
Mind
A daily walk is a proven, simple way to ease stress — something to look forward to, not another task.
Belonging
Group sessions reduce isolation — walking alongside someone, at any pace, is still walking together.
Bring a free trial session to your community.
No cost, no commitment — just a chance for your team to see the program firsthand before deciding if it's a fit for your residents.
